Darryl Lucke

Coastal West Publishing was formed by Darryl Lucke with one unique goal in mind. That goal was to create a company that put authors and their work as a focus rather than just profit. With an emphasis on meaningful relationships and quality workmanship, Darryl succeeded in building a nonfiction publishing house that works with people to create everlasting legacies. In 2020 Coastal West Publishing became partners with Coastal West Press USA and Coastal West Press UK.

About Darryl:

Over the years, Darryl has always been passionately involved in the community. He was involved with the Regina Public Library Board for approximately thirteen years, serving as the Chair for little more than three of those years.

Darryl was a founding director of The Boys and Girls Clubs of Regina. This was an important initiative in 2004 in establishing a program to assist with inner-city youth.

In 2001 Darryl was called to the bar. He has established his law career over the years and continues to practice today. Regardless of how busy his schedule had become, he continued fostering his love for reading and education and made the decision to start Coastal West Publishing in 2007.
